SIDE-ARTWORKS

f-publications entwickelt in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Künstler:innen sogenannte Side-Artworks. Diese Arbeiten entstehen parallel zu audiovisuellen Klanginstallationen und tragen deren spezifische Atmosphäre weiter. Da die Installationen ortsspezifisch und einzigartig sind, entstehen die Editionen bewusst in sehr kleinen Auflagen – meist unter zehn, häufig unter fünf Exemplaren.

f-publications develops so-called Side-Artworks in close collaboration with artists. These works emerge alongside audiovisual sound installations and carry their specific atmosphere forward. Since the installations are site-specific and unique, the editions are intentionally produced in very small numbers – usually fewer than ten, often fewer than five.

UNIQUE WORKS IN SERIES

Jede Edition wird mit großer Sorgfalt gestaltet: handgefertigte Verpackungen, Cover, Inlays, Fotoprints oder Booklets machen die Werke selbst zu eigenständigen Kunstobjekten, die weit über klassische Dokumentationen hinausreichen. Ziel ist es, bleibende Werte zu schaffen, die auch für Sammlungen von Bedeutung sind.

Each edition is crafted with great care: handmade packaging, covers, inlays, photo prints, or booklets turn the works themselves into small-scale artworks that go beyond classic documentation. The aim is to create lasting value, making them relevant for collectors as well.

MATERIALITY & PRODUCTION

Alle Schallplatten werden als Lathe-Cuts in Zusammenarbeit mit einem spezialisierten Team in Österreich produziert. Die Einnahmen aus dem Verkauf fließen – abzüglich der Produktionskosten – zu 50 % an die beteiligten Künstler:innen zurück.

All records are produced as lathe-cuts in collaboration with a specialized team in Austria. Revenues from sales – minus production costs – are shared 50% with the participating artists.
